A working proposalPrepared for Philip L. Schaefer · September 2026

Forty-five screen credits. Lifetime, UPtv, Great American Family. And Google still sends people to a directory.

This is a working proposal, not a brochure. You already have the credits and a live site. Search still sends people to a directory. Here is exactly what we'd do about that.

What we found

First — why this page exists

We're a Dallas studio that builds visibility infrastructure for working talent. You already paid for a personal site — philiplschaefer.com — and a buyer query still ranks directories ahead of it. This is the workup we'd do for a paying client: keep the site you own, make it the page search and casting actually land on. If a credit is wrong, tell us and we fix it at the source.

Your record is not a thin one. IMDb lists 45 acting credits from 2009 through 2024: Ron in Lifetime's The Pregnancy Promise (2023), Curtis in Great American Family's A Royal Christmas on Ice (2022), Dr. Schneider in UPtv's Plus One at an Amish Wedding (2022), Dr. Gotoh in Lifetime's Fiancé Killer (2018), plus a real Investigation Discovery specialty — lead and co-star reenactment work on Shattered, Grave Secrets, I Am Homicide, Dead of Night, and more. In 2024 you played Howard in Nick and Nicky and took an Associate Producer credit on the same film. On your own site you also publish a corporate voice-over lane.

You already own a website. The internet still doesn't treat it as the front door. philiplschaefer.com is live on Wix. The biography tab still says "Resume | mysite." A buyer query still fills the first page with aggregators, not the domain you paid for.

philiplschaefer.com  →  LIVE, yours · biography title: Resume | mysite
philipschaefer.actor  →  unregistered

That is a fixable gap: one canonical page, marked up so search and AI assistants cite you, with the 45-credit ledger and the VO booth on the same URL a CD can actually bookmark.

One engine, three doors

Below are three complete, working drafts of your site — live and clickable, built from your verified credits before you'd paid us a dime. Pick one look; the best ideas from the other two fold in. Every door ships.

  1. Pick the one that feels like you. Its design becomes your site.
  2. Every door ships no matter which look you choose. Casting, VO buyers, and name-search each get an entrance.
  3. All three entrances end at the same place: the booking email you already publish.
Door 1 · Casting offices

The Call Sheet

Lifetime, UPtv, Great American Family, and a deep ID true-crime run — plus a 2024 associate-producer credit — currently live as a Wix résumé. This door is the one-sheet a CD screens in one click: reel, selected credits, SAG-AFTRA.

Draft — "The Call Sheet" Cinematic billing block. Forty-five credits treated like a career, not a Wix list. See it live →
Door 2 · Voice-over buyers

The Booth

You already publish a corporate voice-over lane on pages you control. Voice123's public profile is a gated "send message" button. This door is a public booth: reel slot, and the mailto you already put on your biography page.

Draft — "The Booth" Corporate VO, on a page a buyer can open without a login. See it live →
Door 3 · Name & search

The Initial

Search still doesn't treat the site you own as the front door. This door is the identity fix: one canonical spelling, structured data, and a domain path a producer can type once and trust.

Draft — "The Initial" Own the spelling. Make the live site the one search cites. See it live →

The first 90 days

  1. Make the site you already own actually workphiliplschaefer.com rebuilt on the direction you pick — or a .actor you register in your name on the first call — with the 45-credit ledger, VO booth, and producer line for Nick and Nicky.
  2. Own the searchWikidata, consistent bio, Bing + Google indexing, so "Philip Schaefer actor" cites you instead of a directory.
  3. Arm the casting laneOne-sheet and reel page in the format CDs actually open.
  4. Open the boothPublic VO page using the client list you already published, wired to the email you already published.
  5. Lock the spellingKeep the canonical name consistent so a cold search lands on the site you already own.

The Visibility Service — ongoing, cancel any month

$300/mo

What a publicist's retainer starts at $3,000 a month for, scoped to what actually moves bookings:

Every month: the knowledge-panel campaign advanced; your newest credits wired into the site and profiles the week they land; AI-assistant answer checks logged and corrected.

Every season: the opportunity map refreshed — casting calls in your lane — delivered as a one-page brief.

And a one-page scorecard each month. You'll never wonder what you're paying for.

Distribution — optional add-on

$200/mo · month-to-month

Premiere stills, set photos, and VO spots formatted natively for each channel you already use. No ad spend. Your work is the advertising.

Your first quarter, all-in: $2,400. A couple of booked days, one VO session, or one producer-side inquiry covers it — and everything it builds stays yours.
Rather talk to a human first? Good instinct.

We wouldn't send $500 to strangers off one web page either. Take the smaller step: 30 minutes with Craig, video or phone, no pitch beyond what's on this page. Pick any open slot — or email twe@nibiashara.biz / call (945) 408-3226; it's answered in Dallas.
